My journey is one that takes a bit of time, but you’ll want to stick around for it. I started sellings t-shirts out of the trunk of my car at age 17 and moved from my hometown of Detroit, Michigan to Lubbock, Texas with literally .38 cents to my name. Yes, loose change that couldn’t even buy me a Happy Meal. My pockets were light but my entrepreneurial vision held serious weight.
Eventually, I saw seven figures in sales by age 25. Then, it all seemed to crumble down in 2015, when a flood caused the closure of one of my mall locations.
I decided to pivot and launch the 3:16 Collection. After pivoting again during the pandemic, focusing solely on an e-commerce platform, the game changed.
